Literature Text

The depth of my heart is OVERFLOWING
Waves crashing everywhere, my own tsunami
Filling my head with faint memories of you
Now I'm 40 FEET under the water
No one's rescuing me
The remains of my heart lie at the BOTTOM of the OCEAN
Waiting to be PICKED up
To be put together again
My soul is drowning into this RAGING STORM
No one is taking me in
I feel like I CAN'T BREATHE tonight
All alone in this world
Often there are PAUSES and BREAKDOWNS
Waves crash against my heart all night long
Just tempting me to think of YOU
I wrote this when I got into a fight with one of my best friends.
Me and her are friends now, though.

nice imagery of water and the tsunami. I feel that works really well for this poem! well done.
